One email is enough to start a conversation. We read everything ourselves and reply either way — including when the answer is no.
Attachments up to 20 MB are fine. If your deck is larger, send a link to a data room or cloud folder instead.
If your company is earlier than the growth stage, say so in your email — we pass it on internally.
